What does our warranty cover?
The warranty we offer covers manufacturing defects in the product, provided it has been used under normal conditions and according to the manufacturer's guidelines. However, it’s important to note that it does not cover damages caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or improper installations not performed by Adicto.Bike or the manufacturer.
How does the warranty process work?
At Adicto.Bike, we act as intermediaries in the warranty management process. The manufacturer is responsible for determining if the product qualifies for repair or replacement under warranty. If you made your purchase through our website, we recommend contacting our team at hello@adicto.bike, who will guide you through the process.
Importance of the purchase invoice
The purchase invoice is essential for any warranty claim as it serves as proof of transaction. Therefore, it’s crucial to keep it in good condition. The serial number of your bike, which can be found on the bottom bracket or on the invoice, is also critical for any warranty management.
Warranty duration
The duration of the warranty varies depending on the manufacturer. Some brands offer lifetime warranties, while others limit this period. We recommend reviewing the specific terms of your bike's brand on their official website for complete information.
Maintenance and warranty
To maintain warranty coverage, proper maintenance of the bike is necessary. Each component may have specific conditions, so we suggest consulting the manufacturer's instructions. Generally, if you use your bike intensively, we recommend a check-up every 3 months to inspect the drivetrain, tubeless fluid, brake pads, and other key components. For occasional use, a check-up every 6 months is sufficient.
Can the warranty be transferred?
The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable if the bike is sold second-hand.
What if there is an issue upon delivery?
If you detect a defect in your bike or any other item immediately after receiving it, please contact our customer service team within 24 hours of delivery. For large items or bikes, it’s important to inspect their condition as soon as you receive them. In case of issues, we will ask for a photo of the defect, arrange for collection, and proceed with repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
